DNS stands for Domain Name System. The Internet is all numbers. So wherever your site is located, the DNS system looks up its IP address and sends the query there in microseconds.
When I get 1,700 requests per hour, and the site has 7 visitors, something is wrong with this picture! It’s my First Amendment rights being denied! 🇺🇸

BTW, that 52FLC domain represents. As in Florida, my birth year is 1952, FL, and the letter C stands for Cracker. Original Floridians were called Crackers, that dates back to the early days in Florida when the cowboys were called Crackers 🇺🇸
